About MessageMirror
Published by Easy Entropy on
What it does
MessageMirror helps Android users create a searchable record of their communications by mirroring SMS and MMS conversations into Gmail and call history into Google Calendar.
The goal is simple. Make important messages easy to find years later without building a new cloud inbox that sits between you and your own data.
How it is run
MessageMirror is maintained by Easy Entropy. The product is designed around direct user control, practical backups, and minimal handling of sensitive information.
- Your content is intended to flow from your Android device to your Google account.
- We do not position MessageMirror as a replacement messaging platform.
- Support and product questions are handled through our public contact channels.
Privacy stance
Privacy is core to the product design. Message content is not meant to be warehoused on our own servers. Legal and policy details live in the Privacy Policy and Terms pages.
Support
If you need help, want to report an issue, or have a product question, use the contact page or email us directly.
Email: messagemirror@easyentropy.com
Response times are typically within one business day. When reporting a bug, include your Android version and a brief description of what you observed.
Compatibility
MessageMirror requires Android 8.0 or higher and a Google account for mirroring. The app works independently of your SMS client — you do not need to change your default messaging app to use it.
Calls are synced to Google Calendar as all-day or timed events depending on your settings. SMS and MMS threads appear in Gmail under a dedicated label, keeping your inbox clean.
Open roadmap
MessageMirror is actively maintained. Planned improvements include richer MMS support, selective label configuration, and expanded call metadata. Feature requests are welcome via the contact page.
